Will the operating system consider adding an independent option for “core offset” in addition to the current options of “core offset” and “lock core”?
Currently, HiveOS can only choose between these two options, but newer miners support the ability to set both parameters, which leads to better mining efficiency. However, the only way to achieve this is by using the miner’s internal parameters to override the OC settings or by using third-party tools like NVTool. These methods are not as convenient as using the built-in OC control of the operating system.
