18.20 Driver + XMR Stak = invalid results

18.20 Driver with XMR Stak produces bunch of invalid shares (as referenced here. I hope it would be fixed soon.

My question is would selfupgrading from 0.5-70 (my current version) to 0.5-74 install newer driver or is it just in case of reflashing with 18.04 bionic image?

AFAIK, selfupgrade is not updating drivers nor kernel. For driver update you need to do it manually or with flashing a new image…
