Vega 56 and Vega 64 guide

Is that gigabyte really that bad… there was one second hand for sale but i didnt dare to bid because this thread have gave info that its the worst vega…?

I really didnt know there was as big of a difference when i bought it.
Oc isnt that bad, i have it in 1050clk 960mem w/o problems.
But straps oh men… Ive been almost a month trying straps i find on different forums, or even making my own.
Some people claims getting up to 51mhs with some specific straps. My vega does 45.5 with those

too bad, tho… 45.5mh is okay on top of others, off cource its a pain if u know that it could do better. I was lucky to find this thread so i knew about its rep. Hope u find those good straps soon :+1:

Hello,
I also have two Gigabyte vega56 with Hynix .
But I just cant make this two cards up to 50MH/s.
Could u show me your pararmeter about this card?
THANKS.

update, for now it looks like these oc´s are stable for my vega´s. would like to go down with vdd to 830, they were workin with that just fine before, started to have “gpu x dead” errors after upgrading to latest os, rolled back to previous and adjusted vega oc´s a bit…now 14hrs without any issues. Will let it run as it is for now and try lower vdd later. Any suggestions related to my vega values?

this are the standard hiveos settings vor Samsung Memory.
Mor ist not possible with gigashit.

someone to help me, I can not exceed 49.5mh with the MSI hynix
the straps are as follows, and regularly it makes me invalid, or if I change the parameters makes me reboot TRM

reboot is “normal”. If this is vega 56, try lower your core to 1040 vdd down to 835 and mem 965
if 64 -56 core to 1030 vdd 835 mem 980 … and go from there if they are working…really need some more info what card is this…for the starps 56 amdmemtweak –CL 20 --RAS 20 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 12 --RC 37 --RP 11 --RRDS 3 --RRDL 6 --RTP 5 --FAW 12 --CWL 8 --WTRS 4 --WTRL 9 --WR 14 --REF 65535 --RFC 248

Old timers, please give yor input

You have some pretty conservative straps and OCs already, if your still getting invalids that card might not be able to do 50 without crashes and invalids. Only other thing you can try if its stable at RCDRD 17, but getting invalids is increase RC to 37 it will drop hash a bit but may stop the invalids.
If its crashing with that strap it may need to increase RCDRD to 18-20 to get it stable.

49 is not that bad if you can drop wattage to make it more efficient.

Ive been trying some new low power setting for a really bad Hynix. I have one that crashes under RCDRD 20, and throws invalids on any settings over 48mh, so it had been running at 47.75, 113w.

With the new low power settings runs 47.70 on 98w! Stable so far…

I sold it because of power consumption but it was running better than most Hynix cards.

This was my straps timings:
amdmemtweak --CL 18 --RC 34 --RP 12 --WR 13 --CWL 6 --FAW 12 --RAS 22 --REF 65353 --RFC 164 --RTP 4 --RRDL 5 --RRDS 3 --WTRL 9 --WTRS 4 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 4

Hashrate was great 51,7mh and also cooling was very good, better than Asus Strix

Anyone has Vega Gigabyte Gaming OC 64? Does it have the same higher power drain as 56 version?

Hello everyone from Argentina, can someone help me with my settings ?? I see that many have vega 56 running at + 50Mh and in my case I can not take the Gigabyte more than what is shown in the image and the AsRock reaches there … the best thing would be to make mod bios? I run this command for all video cards (I think I have to learn to do it individually only for the Vega) if you can help me with the 5600xt I would appreciate it very much !!!

amdmemtweak --CL 20 --RAS 26 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 12 --RC 38 --RP 12 --RRDS 3 --RRDL 5 --RTP 6 --FAW 12 --CWL 8 --WTRS 4 --WTRL 9 --WR 13 --REF 24000 --RFC 239

Hey guys ,

Hi, guys, I want to ask you for help.
I do not know what to do, Vega 56 Sapphire Hynix does not give more than 43 MH/s, can you advise something, thank you.

I actually just sold that Vega, like the day I got it to 98 watts, but got 2.13 LTC for it which has done well the past couple days I did write down the strap through!

amdmemtweak --CL 21 --RC 36 --RP 13 --WR 13 --CWL 7 --FAW 12 --RAS 23 --REF 65535 --RFC 248 --RTP 6 --RRDL 5 --RRDS 3 --WTRL 9 --WTRS 4 --RCDRD 20 --RCDWR 14

These are very conservative straps if you have any issue with this bump RC to 37 first.

Hi there,
I’m totally new to Hive OS and this forum

Yesterday i installed Hive OS on my 3 GPU mining rig. Unfortunately my 3 Vega 56 GPUs are Gigabyte ones with Hynix. I’m tweaking around since yesterday. Using TeamRedMiner and AutoFan settings of Hive OS.

Where should i start tweaking and overclocking?

I’m not unhappy with my 45 Mh/s but I’m unhappy with the power consumption and a little bit concerned about the temperature.

Again for Gigabyte 56 Hynix owners:

amdmemtweak --CL 18 --RC 34 --RP 12 --WR 13 --CWL 6 --FAW 12 --RAS 22 --REF 65353 --RFC 164 --RTP 4 --RRDL 5 --RRDS 3 --WTRL 9 --WTRS 4 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 4

But I assume not every card can run with these settings
