Vega 56 and Vega 64 guide

par contre j’ai pas flashé les bios …

well…flash the bios. Have u tried put in recommended straps from hive ?

amdmemtweak --RC 35 --RP 13 --RAS 22 --REF 65500 --RFC 148 --RRDL 4 --RRDS 4 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 4

Flahsing will shange you card bios timings

VEGA 56

lequel choisir pour mes airboost

edited

j’ai bien fait une sauvegarde des bios d’origine de mes deux vega que j’ai gardé précieusement sur mon ordinateur
mais dans techpowerup, je choisi lequel ? , y en a 2

if u read the thread, all info is there available. U can try whitch one you card takes in, just flash it

https://forum.hiveos.farm/t/vega-56-and-vega-64-guide/22368/357

j’imagine que les actions dans l’ordre sont:
-arreter le mineur
-flasher le bios de chaque carte
-relancer le mineur

c’est ca ?

reboot to maintance mode,flash-reboot maintance mode disabled

no need for maintenance mode.
just stop the miner, flash bios and reboot

I use the 2018 one on all my reference cards

according to me, flashing bios won’t change timings. You change timings with the straps in the OC pannel of HiveOS.
however, flashing bios can grant you other clocks and voltages; especially if you flash a 56 bios on a 64 card or 64 bios on a 56 card.
flashing bios can also contribute to stability, and I found the 2018 MSI Airboost the most stable in my own case. It did not have any other clocks or voltages than other reference cards, but less rejected shares.

When the rig crashes, you can click on the red error text, and then in the pop-up that opens, it will tell you which gpu number caused the crash. For that particular gpu, lower mem clock or higher rcdrd might help. A lot more info on this can be found in this thread.

If you don’t have too many invalids you can rise mem mv to 1270-1300, it works for me. I you have trouble to lower RC and RCDRD you can also try playing with mem mv.

I agree, my 64 runs 1060 and 56 Samsung runs only 990 :frowning:

I’ve never messed with mem mv but I have good stability and no invalids with my current OCs. Are you saying setting mem mv would increase hash or drop watts?

Nooo, not yet another value to play with!
My wife hates my Vega’s already. She tells me I spend more time with them than with her or my children! :joy:

So i got the “last” vega…for now anyway. Added second psu at the same time so im adding on gpu at the time, when i tried to just throw new 56 into the mix, rig refused to boot, i had 10gpu´s and this h110 suposely starts to act up at this amount of cards. Well, vegas are up and running with one 580. Added those good same hynix starps to this 56 pulse, working fine. Will see if i manage to get all 10 running
