Hi,

This is what I am running in R-Mode. I am running a little less MH to save power.
Super stable for me. Let me know your thoughts. GPU 0 is ASUS.

Straps the same for all.

amdmemtweak --CL 20 --RC 36 --RP 14 --WR 14 --CWL 8 --FAW 12 --RAS 22 --REF 65000 --RFC 249 --RTP 5 --RRDL 6 --RRDS 3 --WTRL 9 --WTRS 4 --RCDRD 14 --RCDWR 12

My thoughts on Vega FE and Vega Gigabyte cards. They are shit! Impossible to get over 45-48 M/h. SELL as quick as possible and avoid HOURS of headaches. I have almost all Sapphire and XFX cards…no issues generally…

Alan

i agree the Vega FE cards are a nightmare to configure and get running stable.

Do you have " Aggressive Undervolting" enabled with your straps ?

I followed this guide for stable settings and high efficiency. You can do 52Mhs @93W in Software.

I have a crashing issue with 2 x Sapphire Nitro+ ( GPU1 and GPU3 ) on one of my rigs . I have tried several Clocks with amdtweak strap settings and power values but can’t seem to have them stable for long

Tried for Core , VDD , Mem on GPU1 and GPU3 (Sapphire Nitro+ )

1: 925 , 795 , 1000 ( crashed after 1 hour )
2: 955 , 795 , 1000 ( crashed after 1 hour )
3: 955 , 795, 960 ( a little stable)
4: 955 , 812, 1000 ( Tested but crashed after 10 mins )
5: 900 , 795, 960 ( Testing now )

i have also tried several adjustments to amdtweak (straps) with changing --RC 37 or 38 , --RCDRD 12 or 11 and leaving everything else the same on the straps .

Any Help or suggestions ?

There is a new version of TRM 0.10.1, much more stable with Vega Cards

Hello,
did you manage to have a stable mining with your vega 56 ? My card rises very quickly in temperatures regardless of the parameters.
I didn’t have this problem with ETH mining.
I’va Vega 56 with Hynix memories, i’m using :
CC 1000
CV 775
MC 920

amdmemtweak --CL 20 --RC 36 --RP 11 --WR 14 --CWL 8 --FAW 12 --RAS 20 --REF 65000 --RFC 238 --RTP 5 --RRDL 6 --RRDS 3 --WTRL 9 --WTRS 4 --RCDRD 15 --RCDWR 12

No. I’ve been vacationing. Haven’t had a chance yet.

It’s not very stable but better

when last did you change thermal paste on your vega? most likely your thermal paste is baked to a crisp by this point, remember vega is very heavy on thermal paste

About 6/7 months ago …

What is everyone mining these days?

anyone got any decent OC’s for Kaspa on the ol’ Vega 56?
