hey everyone hows it going ive been playing with different miner algo pool 550 combos and wondering if anyone else has tried this using the info in this thread ive set my rx 550 pulse 4gb rig up in claymore zcash AMD miner and changed all my pool info to suit btcz getting a fair few a day max sol/s i can get out of it so far is 82 per card can anyone boost this or give me some helpfull configs to try also every few hrs 1 card drops out with a watchdog issue i disabled watchdog still get the issue every now and then but other from that its going good happy mining from australia 
I have problem with sgminer. When restarting miner in ~7/10 cases it hangs (screen). When restarting rig all is fine.
I’am using ASUS Z-270p with 11x MSI RX550 2gb. GM fork. Algorithm cryptonight (etn). “rawintensity”: “420” “gpu-threads”: “2” “worksize”: “8”

i can get out of it so far is 82 per card
core to 1400mhz = 92 sols/s
yeah my core is at 1400 what config are u running and what version of claymore i keep getting gpu 2 hangs in gl
i might set sg miner up to suit btcz and see how that goes
скачивал и с яндекса и с гугл ошибки при распаковке, можете проверить архив
скачал, с гоогла, сначала давал ошибку, но если использовать Winrar то всё Оке.
я не могу запустить nicehash, сгминер не может запуститьца 
кто нибут помогите? ночью запустил в ручную ( проблема была в том что майнер для лога не мог БТЦ адрес нормально прописать` всегда был %бтц адрес%.майнер% и не заходил на nicehash. как то завёл его через MC, ночь проработал и и 99% reject на всех GPU

стёр всё, другой вопрос, хиве не узнаёт ГПУ, может что то с дровами ?

стереть надо из тунинга всё и остановить биос . всё зароботало , ушли reject
У каждого свой секс. Еще раз убеждаюсь.
тут вопрос стабильности, на винде можно их до 525 разогнать но держит только сутки, будем здесь пробовать 24 x sapphire rx 550 2g разгонять 
ok so i think i found my problem when i go to firstrun -f to add a second rig it updates my hive version to the latest 1 that doesnt work for me is there a way to put a new rig id in without using the first run command or can i downgrade it back to 5 .29 with a command cheers

Thanks to Hive user Igor Shulga there is a guide how to make RX 550 to work in Hive OS.
The main idea is to have 4.13 kernel and OpenCL from 16.60 driver.
If you can, do “amdgpu-pro-uninstall”
Download 4.13 kernel

Choose booting kernel to the latest

Reboot and check you’ve booted the right kernel

Go to folder with drivers in hive and install only only OpenCL from 16.60 version
cd /hive-drivers-pack
tar xvf amdgpu-pro-16.60-379184.tar.xz
cd amdgpu-pro-16.60-379184
./amdgpu-pro-install --compute
Reboot.
For sgminer get attached kernel.tar.gz and replace kernels in /hive/sgminer_gm folder on the rig.
RX 550 has only 512 shader cores so there is no sense to set “rawintensity” > 512 as it will crash.
Recommended settings are
“rawintensity”: 420
“gpu-threads”: “2”

Представляю Вашему вниманию образ “для ленивых” под rx550(онли)
за основу взят последний образ HiveOs 0.5-20 с замененным ядром 4.13 последним которое вапще нашлось на kernel.org
Образ поставляется (as is) работает на этих картах в основном только sgminer ( вторым майнером вместо найсхеша ( если в вебе выбрать найсхеш форк) стоит gatelessgate (он же zawawawa) …на 550 все оттестено и проверено…на глупые вопросы отвечать не буду(есть форум и мануал по заводу) …с чем то “заумным” конечно помогу
в общем…пробуйте…

It seems like many people are still having issues getting the RX550 to run at it’s full potential in Hive OS. Why can Hive not natively support the RX550? Do the dev team have any plans to release an update that supports RX550 ?
There is a bug in AMD mining drivers, that’s why HIve doesn’t support RX550 from the box. Devs have to wait while AMD release new mining drivers to add RX550 support in default Hive release.
i was thinking of getting a couple of the rx 560 pulse 45w versions would i be able to just plug these into the same rig as the rx 550s and be good to go or will i have to set up a new usb for 550s and 560s to both run together
