Whenever I get a new card I test it like this:
Put the card into a Windows PC.
Run the miner in Windows (I use TREX and apply as close as I can to same settings in the config thst I use for HIVEOS).
The Windows driver lets me see memory temps.
If the memory is going to 100+ degrees then I know it’s thermal throttling and I need to redo the thermal pads.
